About Me

Dr Claire O’Sullivan is our specialist in Orthodontics. Claire was born and raised in Glasgow, where she completed both her degree in Dentistry and her postgraduate education in Orthodontics. Claire has worked in the UK in different hospitals where she gained experience in general dentistry oral surgery oral medicine and restorative dentistry, she spent some time working in Australia focusing on Periodontics as well as a short time working for the Aboriginal dental service. She returned to Glasgow to follow a career in Orthodontics in 2003 after completing her hospital training and exams. In 2003, she obtained her degree in Orthodontics allowing her to become a registered Specialist Orthodontist with the Irish Dental Council. Claire moved to Ireland and then worked in the HSE as an Orthodontist and in private practice for more than 10 years until she decided to work solely in private practice. In 2015 Claire took over College Gate Clinic from the previous owner, her sole focus has been to build a practice that is a clinically excellent one that uses modern-day technology to enhance diagnosis and provide the best quality of care to her patients. She believes that having general dentistry and specialist services available under one roof enables better communication between clinicians and that this in turn leads to better outcomes for our patients.
